IFG was selected by the City of Hartford to serve as the Owner’s Representative for the City and the Club for the new ballpark.  The ballpark was planned to be the focal point and catalyst for the City’s $360 million redevelopment effort in the 19 acre Downtown North District which will provide a mixed-use neighborhood including 850 residential units and nearly 200,000 square feet of retail.

 

As the new home to the AA Hartford Yard Goats, the ballpark has 6,000 fixed seats and total capacity in excess of 7,500.  The ballpark includes a full perimeter access of fan amenities including two field level dugout suites, 18 private suites, club seating, interactive kid’s areas, group areas and specialty concessions.

 

IFG responsibilities included the full spectrum of financial, programming, design, procurement and construction oversight for both the City and Club.
