IFG was retained with AECOM and Rooney Associates to assess the feasibility of a total retrofit/refurbishment/expansion of the existing White River State Park amphitheater facility. The study focused on increasing its capacity to 10,000 seats at its current site as well as providing a similar analysis for a new facility at an alternative site, the location of the former General Motors stamping plant. Our team’s responsibility included validating the event forecast and revenue and expense modeling by the event operator, developing a complete facility program, development and construction budgets along with analysis of both sites.

 

The Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn Amphitheater at White River State Park is a 5,000 seat “Pollstar Top 100 outdoor world-class venue” located along the east banks of the White River in downtown Indianapolis.
