IFG served as the Owner’s Representative for the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center by assisting with the project team selection, redevelopment and land purchase agreement with the City, Planned Development approval, significant environmental remediation work, New Market Tax Credit financing, and providing design administration and construction oversight.

 

Located on a 32-acre site in the West Pullman neighborhood, the 160,000 square foot LEED facility includes a 600-seat chapel, conference center, multiple classrooms, childcare facilities, 4-court gymnasium, a leisure pool and competition pool, extensive exercise and training facilities, synthetic and natural grass playing fields, outdoor courts and sports lighting. 

 

Designed by Antunovich Associates and constructed by WE O’Neil, the center opened on schedule and within budget in June 2012.
