IFG was retained by the City of Glendale to serve as Owner’s Representative during the development of the new hotel and conference center located next to Jobing.com Arena and University of Phoenix Stadium.  Completed as a joint-venture between the City of Glendale and John Q Hammons Hotels, the hotel is one of the most luxurious in the western Phoenix area, incorporating ultra high-end finishes, a two story upscale spa, pools and other amenities.  The 320 room, 12-story hotel and conference center offers more than 95,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 30,000 square foot Media Center housing a fully functioning television station and a multi-story parking garage.

 

IFG’s role was to oversee the design and construction of the conference center, media center, television studios and parking garage. 

 

Designed by Butler, Rosenbury & Partners and constructed by Killian Construction Company, the hotel and conference center opened in October 2007.
