HOUSE OF HOPE - CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
IFG served as the Project Manager for the House of Hope overseeing the development, design and construction of the proposed Church and Community Center including program and design review, contract negotiations, construction oversight and operations.
Built in the historic Pullman District of Chicago, the House of Hope revitalized 22.5 acres of an underutilized industrial site. The 203,000 square foot $54 million dollars facility includes 10,000 fixed and removable seats, full broadcast facilities, 3 regulation size basketball courts, 8 meeting/multi-purpose rooms and parking for more than 2,000 cars.
Designed by Archideas and constructed by the McHugh, the Church opened in July 2005. IFG served as the building operator for its first two years and coordinated all start-up activities. The Church now self-operates and IFG provides advisory services as needed.
