YANKEES STADIUM - NEW YORK, NEW YORK
IFG was retained by the New York Yankees in 2007 to support the Team with planning and start-up consulting services. The $1.5 billion open air ballpark included 52,325 seats and 66 Suites. IFG’s efforts were focused on assisting the Yankees with maximizing manpower staffing and creating operating efficiencies during the months that lead up to the opening of Yankee Stadium.
IFG’s responsibilities included providing the Yankees with detailed design reviews for operational functionality, facilities services planning including the selection of a CMSS system, review and analysis of warranties/service agreements and process, procurement of specialized FF&E items and services including development and analysis of the RFP process for the utilities and housekeeping services, implementation of the workforce management system, assisting with training and authoring of employee handbooks, grand opening tasks and checklists and onsite assistance with opening the ballpark.
Designed by Populous and constructed by Turner, the ballpark opened in April 2009.
