Staples Arena is located on an adjacent site to the Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles and is home for the NBA Lakers, NBA Clippers and NHL Kings.  The Center is a 902,000 square foot facility with two public concourses, three suite levels, and a press level.  The arena seats approximately 22,000 for basketball, 19,000 for hockey, including 2,500 premium seats, and 176 suites.

 

IFG served as the financial lender’s construction representative providing detailed reviews of project documentation and program requirements to identify and minimize the lender’s financial risk in the project.

 

Designed by NBBJ Architects and constructed by PCL Construction, the arena opened in October 2000.
