IFG was selected by the City of El Paso in August 2016 to serve as the Owner’s Representative for the development of the proposed Multipurpose Cultural and Performing Arts Center (MPC).  Teamed with EMC International a local engineering and project management firm, IFG’s role is to provide comprehensive professional services including project team selection, assist with the site selection and property acquisition, infrastructure coordination, design and operations review, assist with the center operator selection and FF&E procurement.

 

The proposed MPC is expected to include approximately 12-15,000 seats, 24 private suites, 30 loge boxes and 500 club seats to be located in a downtown location.  To date, IFG lead the efforts to solicit qualifications and select both the Architect and arena operator.  Separately, the City completed its evaluation of the proposed site and was proceeding with the requisite property acquisitions when a local neighborhood group contested the site selection.  All efforts are on hold pending resolution of the site selection.
