MODA CENTER - PORTLAND, OREGON

IFG Moda Center.jpg

The Moda Center, a 21,500-seat arena, was constructed as part of a mixed-use urban entertainment complex, the Rose Quarter.  This $262 million master planned development included, the Rose Garden, renovation of the 12,000-seat Memorial Coliseum, an attached parking garage for 1,100 cars, two additional 550-car parking garages, a 90,000 square foot public plaza, expansion of the adjacent light rail transit station and a 65,000 square foot office/entertainment building.

IFG personnel served as the lender’s construction representative providing detailed reviews of project documentation and program requirements to identify and minimize the lender’s financial risk in the project.

Designed by Ellerbe Becket and constructed by Turner Construction Company, the arena opened in October 1995.
