IFG represented Bexar County during all phases of development for the new San Antonio Spurs arena.  Located at the Bexar County fairgrounds on the City’s near east side, the 730,000 square foot arena includes 18,500 seats, two public concourses, two private concourses, 54 suites, restaurants, and a fan fiesta area for kids. The 175-acre site accommodates more than 7,000 surface parking spaces.

 

IFG represented the County of Bexar during the negotiations, design, and construction of the arena. IFG’s role was to protect the interests of the County and ensure that the County’s investment was effectively managed.

 

Designed by Ellerbe Becket and constructed by Hunt Construction Company, the $175 million arena opened in the fall of 2002.
