AMERICAN AIRLINES CENTER - DALLAS, TEXAS
The American Airlines Center, the home of the NBA Dallas Mavericks and NHL Dallas Stars was part of a master planned, mixed use development consisting of approximately 48 acres and incorporates entertainment, retail, residential and office venues. The arena is a 750,000 square foot facility with five public concourses. The arena seats approximately 19,548 for basketball and 18,004 for hockey including 128 suites and 2,207 preferred club seats.
IFG served as the financial lender’s construction representative providing detailed reviews of project documentation and program requirements to identify and minimize the lender’s financial risk in the project.
Designed by David Schwarz and HKS Architects and constructed by Austin Commercial, the arena opened in July of 2001.
