Mary Beth Hardina - Controller and Vice President, Facility Accounting

Mary Beth is responsible for all corporate accounting as well as the risk management of the company and oversees financial reporting of IFG management accounts and investments of IFG principals including sports teams and the Mercantile Capital Fund. Mary Beth also serves as the company's Contract Administrator for its Stockton (CA) facility management account; overseeing preparation/administration of its annual financial business plan, monthly cash forecasting and venue activity reports, show contracts/settlements, box office reports/controls, subcontractor contracts and personnel.

Serving as IFG's Controller, her responsibility includes the preparation of corporate monthly financial statements, the annual corporate budget and various tax returns, including Partnership Tax Forms.  On Mercantile's behalf, Mary Beth works with certain portfolio companies in their operations and accounting functions. She has maintained the accounting for the private equity funds as well as all other business ventures for the Chicago Principals since 1997.

Mary Beth's accounting experience over the past fifteen years has given her a diversified background in venue accounting and arena/theater/ballpark operations and practices, in addition to financial practices for teams and small businesses, from corporation start-up through partnership dissolution. Prior to IFG/Mercantile, Mary Beth was the Accounting Supervisor for a property management company specializing in Section 8 Housing. Her responsibilities included government audits and reviews on multi family housing properties along with conforming to continuous government regulation changes.
